About

Who makes this

Jerry Universe is made by Jerry Games LLC, with AI tools doing the drafting, one real cat supplying the character, and a person signing off on what ships. Jerry Games LLC is the company behind the games, the book and the show; Jerry Universe is its experiment — a fictional place with real things inside it.

What this is

An experiment, with real things inside it

Jerry Universe is an experiment by Jerry Games LLC, not a pretend storefront and not a finished product line. It is a working test of one idea: that a small team with AI tools can build games, a show, a book and a product line from one real cat, and keep the receipts public while it happens.

Some of it is real: Jerry Games LLC is a real company, Infinite Jerry is playable, Jerry – Idle Cat is playable, Every Seat Filled has a published first episode, and the cat in the photographs is the cat. Some of it is still the experiment: the book, the show format, the merch line, the tin skins and Jerry Brawl are being built in public and say so. What makes it an experiment rather than a pitch is the method: one owner decides, AI tools do defined work, and every public claim gets checked against the thing itself.

The product is the excuse. The speed and the process are the point.

The original original

Jerry is a real cat

He is a grey tabby with a white chest and green eyes who lives with his human, a friend of the studio. Every Jerry in the games, the book and the merch is based on him; the art is AI-generated, the cat is not. He was introduced in the first episode of Every Seat Filled, and has not been consulted about anything since.

The photo was added to the site on 18 October 2026. It is a photograph, not a render. There is another copy of it on the home page.

The honest inventory

What exists right now

Some of this is playable today. Some of it is still being made and says so on its own page. If a line below says it is playable, the link goes to something playable.

  • Jerry – Idle Cat — the original free browser idler, playable at /play/; build v1.9.1, July 2026.
  • Infinite Jerry — the free monster-catching RPG, playable on itch.io; published October 2026.
  • Every Seat Filled — the Jerry Games show. Episode One is live on YouTube. Watch Episode One.
  • Opening the Multiverse — the book, in development; no release date or price.
  • The Couch Department — 24 merchandise design concepts; the first physical samples are due the week of 22 October 2026, and nothing is for sale until they are checked.
  • Portal Pouches — tin-skin concepts; fit and supplier unverified, nothing is for sale.
  • Jerry Brawl — a working title for a PC game; no build and no release date.

How this is made

Human direction, AI assistance

The short version: the AI tools draft, a person decides, and the claims get checked against the thing itself.

Jerry Games is its founder plus AI tools with defined jobs (the book calls them AI staffs). Language models draft copy and code. Image models draft artwork and product renders. Generated music and audio are used in the games. The founder sets the direction, cuts what does not work and decides what goes public.

Nothing is generated and published in one step. Drafts come back with notes, a lot of them are rejected, and copy that reads like a machine wrote it gets sent back until it does not. The book Opening the Multiverse is about that system, which is why this site does not pretend the system is not there.

What gets checked: that a game called playable links to a playable build; that a render is labelled a concept, not a sample; that prices, dates and features appear only once they exist. The itch.io page for Infinite Jerry lists the specific AI tools used across the project.

What you will not find here: awards, testimonials, follower counts, or a date before one is set.
